A Halifax man is facing charges after a stabbing downtown Halifax.
Police say it was just before 4pm Monday in the area of Brunswick and Carmichael streets.
A 24-year-old man was stabbed and taken to hospital.
The 19-year-old suspect was arrested a short time later and will appear in court today facing several charges:
- Aggravated assault
- Assault with a weapon
- Possession of a weapon dangerous to the public peace
- Obstruction
- Fail to comply with a release order
