Police have charged a man in relation to a sexaul assault in Halifax.
On Sunday morning at around 530 police responded to reports of a woman being sexaully assaulted in a building on Brunswick St.
A man, not known to the woman, approached her in the common area and sexually assaulted her.
Officers arrested the man at the scene shortly after.
Halifax Regional Police say the suspect is being charged with:
Sexual assault
Assault causing bodily harm
Choking to overcome resistance
Uttering threats
Mischief
Forcible confinement
The suspect was scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court yesterday.
