This Saturday, the Library’s version of Comi-Con, called Mini-Con, begins with two drawing exercises:

Drawings in Motion: Animation Drop-in 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM | May 7, 2022 Central Library Join local filmmaker Becka Barker in creating a continuous, drawn animated loop! Comic Drawing Contest All day | May 7, 2022 Musquodoboit Harbour Public Library Draw a picture of your favourite comic or manga character, or create your own comic strip. Your drawing will be entered into a prize draw. And Asian Heritage Month is happening for the whole month of May! Origami 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM | May 7, 2022 Keshen Goodman Public Library Celebrate Asian Heritage Month as we explore the art of Japanese paper-folding and learn to make some simple origami animals.
