The Thunderbirds Hosted “Country Night” On Friday

It was “Country Night at The Nest” back on Friday night with the Halifax Thunderbirds.

The T-Birds players came dressed for the occasion!

At 5pm, as I was entering the player and staff entrance on Carmichael St, the Halifax police car driving by gave the fellas a little noise for good luck seeing them dressed as cowboys.

Above far left: # 94 Tyson Bell looked like he was straight out of an episode of “Yellowstone!”

The Thunderbirds had a valiant comeback late in the game but fell 12-11 to the Georgia Swarm in the game that was broadcast on TSN coast-to-coast in front of over 8400 fans.

Some milestones: Congratulations to # 83 Randy Staats on playing in his 100th career National Lacrosse League game.

Plus congrats on another Milestone to mark down for # 17 Ryan Benesch surpassing both Colin Doyle and Mark Steenhuis for eighth all-time in NLL Games Played. Congratulations, Beni!

Thanks to The Voice of the Thunderbirds Steve MacArthur for the call-up.
