I recently made O negative blood donation number 57 at Canadian Blood Services over on Bayers Road in Halifax for the holiday season, wearing the National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” t-shirt.
Every holiday season, donations slow down due to folks being busier and with vacations, but donors are still required to help out patients in need.
Canadian Blood Services needs 450 new blood and plasma donors each and every day this winter to accommodate patient need.
Please consider giving the gift of life this holiday season as supplies are critically low.
