The Edmonton CFL team has a new name.
The franchise announced Tuesday that it’s changing its name to the Elks.
This move comes ten months after the club dropped its longtime Eskimos name after pressure on franchises to get rid of racist or stereotypical names.
So next season it’ll be the Edmonton Elks hitting CFL fields.
