An 89-year-old Fredericton woman has died after a two-vehicle collision near Keswick.
RCMP believe an SUV failed to stop on Highway 102 in Island View on Tuesday evening.
The vehicle then crashed into a tractor-trailer travelling in the same direction that was stopped and trying to make a left-hand turn.
The woman in the SUV died at the scene.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was not hurt.
The Upper Kingsclear Fire Department and Ambulance New Brunswick attended the scene. New Brunswick RCMP’s Collision Reconstructionist and the New Brunswick Coroner’s Office are also assisting with the investigation.
