The Premier of this province, Tim Houston, has found himself in hot water after some strange remarks he gave about Cape Breton declaring a state of emergency due to the excessive snow fall this past weekend:
While many remain snowed in, unable to leave their homes, and overwhelmed crews work around the clock, Premier Houston suggested the CBRM state of emergency was a PR stunt.

Those comments quickly backfired, as people across the CBRM quickly fired back about what he said:

Of course, he now finds himself in a position where he feels he needs to backtrack a bit on what he meant or said:
