The Mooseheads Had A Successful QMJHL Draft As Host

Your Halifax Mooseheads hosted the QMJHL Entry Draft for the first time in franchise history this past weekend.

Thousands turned out to witness Moose Country history being made right here in our very own home rink.

The Herd landed with a trade for their 3rd pick Mateo Nobert a forward who is a Vegas Golden Knights Draft pic who had 78 points last season with the Armada.

Then with the 7th pick the Mooseheads chose forward Emrik Menard who turned 16 yesterday.

The Herd added some Nova Scotia content with defenseman Jack Cameron from the Pictou Country Weeks Crushers.

It was great to see the incredible turnout by Moosemaniacs supporting the Mooseheads who will have an impressive team once the puck drops on the upcoming season.

See ya at the rink!
