You can likely expect delays if you are heading across the harbour this weekend, the MacKay Bridge is closing.
Halifax Harbour Bridges (HHB) says the harbour span will shut down for maintenance Friday at 7 p.m. and reopen Monday at 5:30 a.m.
There will be free ferry rides all weekend, courtesy of HHB.
