The Library is playing host to a really cool, all-day celebration of the ocean. Kind of like the A-B-Seas at the Library. Central Library World Ocean Day – All Day 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM | June 11, 2022

Celebrate World Ocean Day and Atlantic Canada’s deep-sea canyons! We have a full day of activities to enjoy.

10:00-2:00 PM: Exhibit – Watch some underwater footage of Atlantic Canada’s deep-sea canyons, browse through a photo exhibit, and pick-up some free ocean-themed stuff. You’ll get to see what it looks like down there, like pretty corals and dumbo octopus.

10:00-12:00 PM: Art workshop with Wonder’neath – One of the coolest new art organizations will guide families through some crafts.

2:00-3:30 PM: Presentations and Q&A – Listen as smart folks, like scientists and researchers, tell us about the deep-sea and answer your questions.

3:30-4:30 PM: Mingle time with snacks and drinks
