A Big Crowd At The Halifax 2022 Terry Fox Run

It was great to be back “in person” for the 42nd annual Terry Fox Run for cancer research at Point Pleasant Park in Halifax yesterday.
The rain held off as about 200 participants were there to support Terry’s dream.
Here are some pictures:
The crowd gathers above.
(Above: Ian MC’s along with his two sons Drake and Trent who’s a Terry’s Team Member in his red Terry Fox shirt that all cancer survivors wear.)
(Above: Cia Tweel from Cia’s Bodyworks has been warming the crowds up since 2009. She is also now a cancer survivor since our last run in 2019.)
(Above the crew from Maritime Ghostbusters left to right: Ethan Ferguson, Jon Underhill and Missie Brown who was the Top Terry Fox Run Fundraiser in Halifax raising over $5,300. this year and over $15,000 since 2020! Her dad had the same type of cancer Osteosarcoma that Terry Fox had at the same time Terry had his battle. Watch for the Maritime Ghostbusters at Hal-Con this year.)
(Above my son Trent with fellow cancer survivors Mary Stea and Jocelyn Leigh who just moved to Halifax from BC and is a two time cancer survivor.)
Thanks to everyone who came out to the Terry Fox Runs that were held across Canada and in 60 other countries, to date over 850 million dollars has been raised in Terry’s name for cancer research.
See you next year!
