A Favourite Dartmouth Restaurant Has Closed

It’s the end of an era for a local family restaurant in Dartmouth.

After 54 years, John’s Lunch on Pleasant Street will closed for good yesterday.

When John Sarganis opened the doors to John’s Lunch in 1969, he never imagined his little diner would become such a cherished landmark.

The restaurant has been a family favourite for many generations with their clams and fish ‘n chips being popular menu items!

Yesterday many long time loyal customers dropped by one last time to get their last feed of fish ;n chips and clams.

The staff made this post yesterday during the last day of business at John’s.

Thanks to Irene and the staff over the years for the tasty food and memories folks.
