Congratulations to former Halifax Mooseheads star goalie Zach Fucale and the Hershey Bears who won the American Hockey League Calder Cup!
Last night, the Bears beat the Coachella Valley Firebirds 3-2 in overtime Game 7 of the league final.
The only other time the AHL Calder Cup Final was decided in OT was in 1953.
The Hershey Bears are the NHL’s Washington Capitals farm team.
Zach won the QMJHL President Cup and Memorial Cup here ten years ago in 2013 with the Halifax Mooseheads.
