What a season it was to remember here in Moose Country!
The Mooseheads come up short in Game 6 of the QMJHL Finals on Sunday falling 5-4 to the Quebec Remparts who won the series 4-2 to claim the newly named Gilles-Courteau Trophy.
I’m so proud of our young Mooseheads team and all they accomplished including making it to the QMJHL Finals.
To our over agers Evan Boucher, Josh Lawrence and Alex Doucet, it was awesome to announce all your goals, good luck in the future.
After the game, it was great to run into former Mooseheads brothers’ stars # 12 Danny Moynihan and # 71 Connor Moynihan post-game at the restaurant.
The fellas and their Dad Dan drove up from New Hampshire for the game. Once a Moosehead, always a Moosehead.

Thanks for the memories to our players and fans, the future is bright here in Moose Country!
Enjoy the Summer Moose Country, thanks for being along for the ride, and what a ride it was!
Being part of the Halifax Mooseheads Family is a huge thrill each year as I look forward to my 27th season behind the Mooseheads Microphone.
Next season the core group of this years team will be back and many say The Herd will be a powerhouse in the QMJHL.
See ya at Training Camp in August to get ready for our 30th season in Moose Country, it’s going to be a special one!
