And The CCMA Winners Are:

The 39th annual Canadian Country Music Awards were handed out last night in London, Ontario!

It was the first time since the pandemic that everyone in Canadian Country music could gather and it was great to see our pals back doing what they love.

Some of the highlights for me were:

Jojo Mason singing his new “Broken Umbrella” – Jojo was also the show host announcing the guests.

Tennile Townes rocked “Girl Who Didn’t Care”, Dallas Smith debuted his new “Hide from A Broken Heart” that he’ll be sure to play in Truro next June 18th.

MacKenzie Porter and Dustin Lynch did “Thinkin’ ‘Bout You”

(Mackenzie Porter showing off Ian’s Memorial Cup Championship Ring.)

Chris Stapleton killed it with “You Should Probably Leave”!

And the winners are… Dallas Smith won Male Artist of the Year, Entertainer of the Year and Song of the year for “Like A Man.”

Tenille Townes was the Female Artist of the Year.

Group or Duo of the Year went to the Reklaws.

Brett Kissel won The Fan’s Choice Award and Robin Ottolini won the Rising Star.

If you missed show on Prime and online, Global will rebroadcast it this Friday night.

Congrats to all the winners and thanks for another year of great Canadian Country!
