A murder-suicide resulted in two deaths in Cole Harbour.
A 72-year-old man and 71-year-old woman were found inside a home on Poplar Drive on Monday morning.
Police say the man killed the woman, and then shot himself.
Their investigation is ongoing, being led by the RCMP/Halifax Police Integrated Criminal Investigation Division.
They say there was never a risk to the public, and the incident was the result of intimate partner violence.
