Cole Harbour’s Sidney Crosby Honoured On Rimouski Bus

Sidney Crosby’s former QMJHL team was in Halifax on Friday night to play the Mooseheads.

When I was walking to the rink to announce the game, I noticed the team had “Sid The Kid” on the of the bus saluting their star players from the past.

Sidney played for the Rimouski Oceanic for two seasons and won the President Cup against the Mooseheads in May 2005.

On the back of the bus the team has a nice salute to Sid from the night Rimouski retired his number 87 jersey to the rafters and where it was announced no other player in the future will wear number 87.

Halifax beat Rimouski 6-2 Friday.

Sidney has 31 goals and 53 assists for 84 points so far on the season for the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Good luck in the upcoming NHL playoffs that start May 2nd Sid!

Sid will turn 35 this 08-07-2022 the reason why he wears 87.
