Because of this, HRM is installing safety signage at the steps to discourage people to do this. Just like the signage at Peggy’s Cove with the Black Rocks, it doesn’t seem to be working! This weekend the stairs than Pete Davidson!
If you thought of trying this today, just a heads up there’s a dead whale carcass floating in the harbour. A small, male humpback is beached near Eastern Passage. It’s estimated the animal is about 10 m in length.
