Drivers caught going 83km/h and 78km/h over the limit

Officers have charged two unnamed men for stunting.

Both incidents happened Thursday.

Police say a 17-year-old man from Kentville was clocked at 193 km/h in a 110 km/h zone on Highway 101 in Mount Uniacke.

They say a 53-year-old man from Lake Echo was spotted travelling 178 km/h in a 100 km/h zone on Highway 107 in West Petpeswick.

Both were charged with stunting under the Nova Scotia Motor Vehicle Act, which comes with a $2,422.50 fine.
