Halifax Regional Police say two people are facing firearms related offences after pulling a vehicle over last night.
Police carried out the traffic stop near the 1500 block of Grafton Street at around 7 p.m.
They say a man and a woman were arrested for possessing weapons, and a firearm was found inside the vehicle.
The pair are scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
