Happy Birthday to Canadian icon Michael J. Fox who’s turning 60 today.
He was born in Edmonton, his real name is Michael Andrew Fox and didn’t want his stage name to be Michael A. Fox because, as a Canadian, he thought people would say the “A” like “eh?” So he picked “J” instead. It doesn’t stand for anything.
He starred on TV in “Family Ties” and the “Back to the Future” movies in the 80’s.
Michael J. Fox continues to be a strong voice in the battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
