I recently made O negative blood donation number 41.
It was a special one in memory of my brother-in-law Doug McDonald.
We lost Doug way too soon back on January 2nd this year to leukemia.
His son Tyler called me back then to thank me for being a regular blood donor because transfusions helped Doug to have one more Christmas with his family last holiday season.
That meant a lot to hear as Doug’s famous phrase was “It’s All About Family!”
