April 7th marks Green Shirt Day across the country in honour of the Logan Boulet Effect.
Logan was The Humboldt Broncos player and was one of 16 people killed the Broncos bus crash in Saskatchewan on April 6th, 2018.
Logan passed away the next day and his parents, acting on their son’s desire, offered to donate his organs, saving six lives.
Jenn Martin, who represents the Canadian Transplant Association (pictured above) chatted with me today about the importance of organ donor awareness.
