Lots Planned for the Natal Day Long Weekend

Natal Day weekend is here and there’s lots to do all over HRM with the festival going from Saturday through Monday and the celebrations will offer plenty of family fun and festivities for both young and old.

Fireworks will take place on Saturday night at 10pm over Halifax Harbour, then Sunday at 9pm on the Dartmouth side and some more on Monday night over Lake Banook at 9:30pm.

Sunday it’s the MacPass Miles Bridge Race and the MacDonald Bridge Walk between 2 and 4 pm. Be sure to check out all the foreign coins from other countries that the Bridge Commission has collected over the years on display.

Monday it’s the 118th Natal Day Road Race at 8am and the 127th Natal Day Parade at 10am.

Also, the Buskers are on the Halifax and Dartmouth waterfront.
