The Mounties are investigating a shooting in Pictou County over the long weekend.
RCMP were called to a report of the incident at a “commercial lodging” in Pictou at around 12:27 a.m. on Monday.
Police say a 32-year-old man was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators believe the parties are known to each other.
They say there has been a heavy police presence in the community as they continue to investigate.
