Recently at a Toronto Blue Jays Game, we were lucky to meet up with the Toronto Maple Leafs General Manager Brad Treliving.
He was in the same skybox we were in.
I introduced myself as Ian a life long Leafs fan and that I was the Public Address Announcer for the Halifax Mooseheads of the QMJHL.
Brad replied “I actually played with the Mooseheads GM Cam Russell in Indianapolis back in the day.”
I showed him my Mooseheads Championship/1000 games tattoo on my left leg and said I’m saving my right leg for a Leafs Stanley Cup Championship. Brad said “Deal, Ian!”
It was actually our very first Jays game and Brad’s too.
