Mooseheads Anthem Singer Peter Baylis With A Brain Cancer Update

Our Halifax Mooseheads family was recently rocked with the sad news that Peter Baylis, our beloved anthem singer for the past 15 seasons in Moose Country, has been diagnosed with brain cancer.

Peter has become a legend in the rink with his outstanding performances of O Canada, he’s set the bar for anthem singers in the QMJHL and CHL!
Peter gave me a call with an update on his health battle, have a listen below.
As the Mooseheads Announcer, it’s a thrill to introduce Peter at each game, and I cannot wait to intro him at the Mooseheads Home Opener on September 20th!
We always do our traditional fist bump after he is done singing, as he’s walking through the penalty box area.
A Go Fund Me has been sit up HERE.
Huge hockey hugs to Peter, his wife Jenn and daughter Lucy.
Fight the hockey fight in your battle!
