Mooseheads Get First Win As Peter Baylis Returned To Sing O Canada

It was a perfect script for your Halifax Mooseheads winning 5-4 with a shootout on Saturday night for the Home Opener!
Hometown kid Tantallon’s Quinn Kennedy with the sniped winner and a beauty by new Finland Herd member Jasu Mensonen helped to down the Charlottetown Islanders here in Moose Country with 8,205 fans in the stands.

Peter Baylis did awesome singing O Canada, his brother Tony flew in for the night to join family and friends in a skybox provided by the team.

There was a “Love You Peter” sign in the crowd made by a fan along with others.

Peter told me he really appreciates all the support and love he has received since being diagnosed on this past May 26th, 2025.
Keep fighting your brain cancer, brother! We are with you all the way and remember Moose Country loves ya!
