Nathan MacKinnon Added To Cole Harbour Sign!

The “Welcome to Cole Harbour” sign has a new addition.

Nathan MacKinnon the former Halifax Moosehead recently won the Stanley Cup for the first time on June 27th with the Colorado Avalanche and now the Halifax Regional Municipality has added Nate’s name to the entrance to Cole Harbour along with his idol and neighbour in Grand Lake, Sidney Crosby.

There’s still no word on when Nathan will bring the Stanley Cup home to Moose Country for another Cole Harbour Cup Parade, but we do know that his teammate Alex Newhook of the Avalanche will have the Cup in St. John’s, Newfoundland on Monday, August 22nd. So it could be around this time as the Cup plans trips to the players hometowns geographically.

My sources say that Nate is keeping the date under wraps for now until plans are finalized for an announcement.

It’s gonna be a huge party when Stanley comes to Cole Harbour with Nate!
