Tonight will be a memorable game to announce as the Halifax Mooseheads will retire Nathan MacKinnon’s # 22 to the rafters.
Nathan will join Jean-Sébastien Giguere, Alex Tanguay and Jody Shelley and my fellow Public Address Announcer and mentor Pat Connolly, all Mooseheads Legends!

Nate flew in yesterday from Denver, Colorado and will be there tonight to see his # 22 retired to the rafters of the rink where he cheered the Mooseheads on growing up.
Get there early as the doors open at 5:30pm, the Warmup: 6:30pm, the Pregame Show starts: 6:45pm and Nathan MacKinnon retirement ceremony: 7:05pm.
I’m ready to open the Mooseheads Mic for my 27th season in Moose Country with Game # 1084, should hit 1100 in January.
