Nickelback, the pride of Hanna, Alberta are back again tonight in Halifax back on Citadel Hill to begin Halifax Music Fest.
Last time they played the Garrison Grounds was Canada Day 2007 with my ticket stub above from that night.

For the record back then, the first song was “Animals” and the encore was “Rock Star” and “Figured You Out.”
Our friend Tennille Townes starts the music this evening at 5:30, Big Wreck at 6:45, The Glorious Sons at 8 and Nickelback on at 9:30.
The weather looks perfect for tonight.
Tomorrow night’s headliner is Lenny Kravitz followed by the Killers on Sunday night.
