Nova Scotians 20+ now eligible to book COVID-19 vaccine

Bookings to get a COVID-19 vaccine have now opened up to people as young as age 20.

If you are 20 or older you can book your appointment for the Pfizer or Moderna vaccine online or by calling the toll-free line 1-833-797-7772.

You must have an appointment as clinics are unable to accommodate drop-ins.

However, Nova Scotia Health tweeting Tuesday afternoon people who book appointments now have the option to choose if they would like to be called if there are extra doses left at end of day, provided they can get to the clinic within 30 minutes.

Public Health says if you get a call because you’re on the wait list, the available spot is for you only and not for a family member or a friend.
