O Negative Blood Donation # 61 In The Books

I recently made O negative blood donation number 61 since 2014 at Canadian Blood Services over on Bayers Road here in Halifax.

Did you know a serious car crash victim would need 60 units of blood to survive? Plus, it can take two donors a day to help someone undergoing a stem cell transplant.

This one in a time of 5:46. (Record donation time 4:33.)

Cancer patients depend on blood donations too and each donation can save three lives – it only takes less than an hour and the treats are a real bonus.

Here in Nova Scotia this summer there’s a very high demand for O negative blood, the universal donor, so please consider booking your next appointment HERE.

Thanks,

Ian
