A week ago today, Friday, November 7th, I made O negative blood donation # 63 for Halifax Mooseheads Anthem Singer # 63 Peter Baylis who was then fighting his brain cancer battle.
I did hear from Peter when he saw my Facebook post saying that he was O-neg too and we were both universal blood donors.
He continued to say “63 is a good number! Miss my Moosehead Gang! Hear me now… “GO MOOSE GO!”
See the messages below.
Peter wore # 63 as this was the year he was born, he was only 62 when he lost his battle this past Wednesday, November 12th at 2:55 am.
(Above: When Peter’s jersey was “taken’ from his car and then “mysteriously” returned on March 17, 2017.)
Little did we know that Peter would pass away just a few days later on Wednesday, November 12th.
So if you can spare an hour, please consider making a donation that help can save up to three lives.
You can book your appointment by clicking HERE.

We will honour Peter our rink brother this Saturday afternoon at 3pm with a pregame tribute and a moment of silence for our Mooseheads family member.
