O Negative Blood Donation Number 64 In The Books

I recently made O negative blood donation number 64 at the Canadian Blood Services clinic over on Bayers Road in Halifax.
Brandon, my nurse, a fellow Beatles fan, got the t-shirt reference to the donation number 64 with the Beatles song “When I’m 64.”
We reminisced about the Paul McCartney Halifax concert on July 11th, 2009 with a full moon that night over Nova Scotia!
Did you know a serious car crash victim would need 60 units of blood to survive?
And it can take 5 donors to save someone who needs heart surgery.
Cancer patients depend on blood donations too and each donation can save three lives plus it only takes less than an hour.
The treats before and after are great!
Please consider booking your appointment HERE.
Thanks,
“O Negative Ian”
