OnlyFans the latest to join the rally of Russian sanctions

As you no doubt have seen, Canada has laid down some pretty strong sanctions against Russia since they began their invasion of the Ukraine. No planes are coming through these parts, no vessels are allowed through, we’ve sent military aid along with financial backing.

Canada has also banned Russian crude oil from entering the country.

Along with many other countries, we aren’t the only ones turning off the taps to Russia though as OnlyFans has now also joined the growing list of sanction imposers.

They have paused their service to the aggressing country meaning that viewers can’t access and creators also can’t withdraw money. Admittedly, this is very sad for the sex workers in Russia who rely solely on their income from this website for a living.

However, at this point, if your brand is still providing really any service to Russia you’re one of the few and not the many.

OnlyFans joins PornHub in terms of adult entertainment outlets throwing down Russian sanctions.

In terms of other major brands, CCM has stopped advertising Russian hockey players, Formula One has dropped all Russian advertising and has also declared that their Russian and Belarussian drivers can no longer fly their home country flag.

There are hundreds, if not thousands of companies, that have shunned their Russian counterparts and customers, but really this is just the tip of the iceberg of what’s to come as the invasion continues.
