The 250 member crew of HMCS St. John’s left port yesterday afternoon from the Halifax dockyard and our nephew Ryan is one of the crew members onboard.

After the Fun DUCT Raiser in Spryfield, we went over to York Redoubt and got to see Ry and the crew leave, heading out towards Chebecto Head.
We exchanged texts of our pictures from ship to shore.
The ship will get set to begin its deployment on Operation REASSURANCE.
It will join Standing NATO Maritime Group Two in European waters until December.
To say our family is proud of Ryan, is an understatement.
Safe sailing, safe home and thank you for your service to the crew of the #340, the St. John’s.
