A Truro man has died after being hit by an SUV in Earltown.
According to RCMP, emergency services responded to a report of a collision in the 1-100 block of Hwy. 326 just before 11 p.m. on June 18. When they arrived they learned a man on the roadway was struck by a Ford Edge.
The 60-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver was a 29-year-old woman from Debert, and neither her nor her 19-year-old passenger were hurt.
RCMP say the highway was closed for several hours, but has since reopened.
The investigation is still ongoing with support from the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service.
