We had another great Hot Country Hangout with Robyn Ottolini on Tuesday!
This was her first time back in Halifax since opening up for Shania Twain last June at the Scotiabank Centre.
When I was chatting with her on stage and was saying how I was lucky to sit next to four of her friends from high school. Robyn replied that “They came to Halifax for my first arena show!” She said she was nervous opening for Shania, but once she saw her friends standing up in the audience, she calmed down.
I asked her some “Hot Fire” questions and we found out that some of her favourite singers are Kacey Musgraves, Sam Hunt and Faith Hill. Her favourite Country song of all time is Diamond Rios “Meet Me In The Middle” and her favourite NHL team is the Montreal Canadiens, inspired by her Grandfather.

Robyn played a show Tuesday night at the Marquee with New Brunswick’s Riley Taylor.
