Your Halifax Mooseheads now have just one owner and are fully owned by Simon Sports.
Sam Simon and his son Peter of Simon Sports have purchased the remaining 15.5 % of the teams shares from minority shareholders, after buying 84.5% of the Herd from Bobby Smith in February 2023, after being a majority owner for 20 years.
The father-and-son duo say they will continue to build on the franchise’s rich tradition, and achieve greater heights and goals here in Moose Country.
Since 1994 The Mooseheads have had 7 million fans pass through the doors averaging 8,368 fans per game last season.
