Crowds gathered on the Halifax waterfront Friday to see street performers show their work at the 40th annual Busker Festival.
Sebb and Fritzzz kicked off day three of the festival at the Maritime Museum stage. Seb does the talking while Fritzzz makes sound effects.
The duo stayed in character while doing an interview with Acadia News, when they described what they do.
“I do the vipping, which is nice,” explained Seb. “Fritzzz, he does the boom boom with his mouth.”
Then during the finale, Seb rides the monocycle which is named “Ollie”.
Seb says his favorite part of the show is working with Fritzzz every day. They met years ago.
“I thought to myself, this man is so good with his mouth. He does things no other person in the world can do. I must take him around the world and tour with him.”
But he also loves the energy that the crowd brings.
“We’ve been hanging out on tour for weeks,” said Seb. “I just love performing. I love the reactions from the people. The applause.”
The Busker Festival runs until August 3.
