The Halifax 45th Terry Fox Run A Big Success!

Thanks to everyone who came out to the Point Pleasant Park run yesterday in Halifax.

We had close to 200 participants and raised almost $30,000. dollars!

Since the start, the Halifax runs have raised over $900,000. with over $950 million worldwide in Terry’s name.

Above with Dr. Robin Urquhart special guest speaker co-lead of the Marathon of Hope Cancer Centres Network’s Atlantic Cancer Consortium and Associate Professor at the Department of Community Health and Epidemiology at Dalhousie University.

Our son Trent is a cancer survivor and was there with his Terry’s Team members wearing their red survivor shirts.

This year’s theme, Finish It, as when he was forced to end his Marathon of Hope on September 1st, 1980, Terry Fox said “All I can say is if there is any way I can get out there and finish it, I will.”

It’s always an honour to MC, I’ve been doing so since 2007, so we’ll see you Sunday, September 20th in 2026!
