The Canadian Hurricane Centre here in Dartmouth will be monitoring the progress of Hurricane Sam this week.
It’s still too early to know if it will affect Atlantic Canada, but as we’ve learned in the past it never hurts to keep an eye on the forecast.
If it does affect the region, it would not likely be until this coming Sunday.
Currently Sam is a Category 3.
18 years ago tomorrow, September 28th, Hurricane Juan hit Halifax in 2003.
