The Country Night In Canada Tour Wraps Up In Halifax

Last night Steven Lee Olsen and Jojo Mason brought their “Country Night In Canada Tour” to Halifax for their show at the Marquee with Brooke MacArthur from PEI opening up.

It was a loud Sunday night crowd there for a high energy concert.

The tour covered 35 shows in the last 40 days since leaving delivering shows from British Columbia to here in Halifax.

Brooke did a great job of her set with some covers and some of her original tunes wrapping up with Kelea Ballerini’s If You Go Down, I’m Goin Down Too.”

Jojo Mason took over next with his half hour set of hits with favourites like “Good On You,” “Bottom Shelf” and “Broken Umbrella.”

Steve Lee Olsen had Halifax rockin’ opening with his hit “Hello Country” and covering his catalogue of hits like “Bigger Than This Town,” Outta Yours” and “Never Not Care” his latest with Mickey Guyton.

“SLO” also covered some of his songs he wrote for other star like Brett Kissel’s hit “Make A Life Not A Living,” Dallas Smith’s “Drop” and the huge hit for Keith Urban “Blue Ain’t Your Color.”

Jojo rejoined “SLO” onstage for the encore starting with a cover of “I Had Some Help” the monster hit for Post Malone and Morgan Wallen and finishing the night with “Raised By A Good Time.”
