The First Mooseheads “Toque Toss” A Success!

The Halifax Mooseheads held their first-ever “Toque Toss” on the weekend, replacing the “Teddy Bear Toss.”

With the demand for bears not as much in need, the team did see the demand for toques, gloves and socks in high demand for local HRM homeless charities.

On minus 10 feel like wind chill Friday night in Halifax, Moosemaniacs generosity came through with enough toques to fill up two pickup trucks!
The icing on the cake was that the Halifax beat Gatineau 5-4 in overtime here in Moose Country!
