The Halifax Macs Fight Cancer

Thanks to the Halifax Macs for having me announce their “Hockey Fights Cancer” Ceremonial Puck Drop back on the weekend with former Mac, now with the Cape Breton Eagles, Jacob Newcombe.

Jacob was diagnosed last July and is winning his cancer battle with Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.

Keep battling Jacob!

Jacob hopes to be back with the Eagles in the new year!

The Macs have raised so a running total of $7546. You can bid on an autographed Jacob Newcombe Cape Breton Eagles jersey up until Saturday.
