The Halifax Mooseheads Have Lost One of Their Biggest Fans

The Mooseheads Home Opener is this Saturday against Cape Breton and one of the Herds’ biggest fans will be missed.

Kendra Cavill sadly passed away last week way too young.

Kendra was so great to all the Moose players over the years and proudly had pictures taken with them.

She was a leading member of the Moose-ster Fan Club seen often on road trips and before games in Moose Country setting up fan clappers in the stands around the rink.

Kendra was a dedicated volunteer as well helping out various charities like Heart and Stroke, Diabetes, the Blue Nose Marathon and other runs, Canadian Cancer Society – Relay for Life, the Longest Day of Golf; and others.

She was also a huge fan of the Cole Harbour Wolf Pack and Auburn Eagles hockey teams.

Kendra worked at the Cole Harbour Superstore for the last 18 years where she made many friends.

I’ll miss her “High 5’s” and “Go Moose Go” chants in section 14 where the players come out, as I walk to ice level to announce the games.

This is her obituary.

We’re gonna miss ya Kendra in Moose Country, rest easy my friend.
