The Halifax Wanderers season will eventually be here in Halifax.
They’ll begin in Winnipeg, but Derek Martin of the Wanderers says they hope to have fans in the stands by this August, depending on the eased COVID-19 restrictions.
The stands at the Wanderers grounds in downtown Halifax holds close to 8,000, they hope to have 3,000 to 4,000 fans this summer.

Since 1997, he has been the Public Address Announcer for the Halifax Mooseheads of the QMJHL with over 1,100 games announced, and since 2024, has been the Voice of the Halifax Thunderbirds of the National Lacrosse League in “The Nest.”
