The Moose Are Loose This Weekend In Quebec

Your Halifax Mooseheads will play in Chicoutimi this Saturday and Sunday in Baie-Commeau!

Saturday’s game is 5pm Atlantic puck drops and Sunday’s is a 4pm start as the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League is back in action this weekend.

There will be no fans allowed this weekend in Quebec, but as of February 7thit looks like 500 will be permitted.

The Mooseheads last home game here in Moose Country with fans in the stands was back on December 17th when the Moose beat Bathurst 3-2 at the Teddy Bear Toss Game, that seem so long ago!

Mooseheads Head Coach Sylvain Favreau says the team is very excited to get back to playing real games after just holding practices with groups of ten players the last few weeks.

Nova Scotia Premier Tim Houston in the last COVID-19 briefing hinted that sports could reopen in the middle of this month, so hopefully after February 14th we can get fans back in the stands here in Moose Country.
